Weight, feeding and shedding over time
A single value says little. A series is what speaks: has the weight been falling for three months? Have the feeding intervals lengthened? That is precisely what ReptiCare works out from the completed appointments.
Weight
- A curve across all weighings with the first and last measurement
- Change in absolute terms and as a percentage
- Target weight as a guide line
Feeding
- Number of feedings and average interval in days
- Refusal rate over the period recorded
- Date of the last accepted feeding
Shedding
- Number of sheds, average interval and last shed
- Documented quality: Complete or in pieces
Notes
- Weight loss against the peak of the last 90 days
- Several refused feedings in a row
- No feeding recorded for a long time
- A year in review with the figures of a whole season
These notes are rules of thumb and do not replace a veterinary assessment. Brumation, an approaching shed or pregnancy explain many an oddity quite harmlessly.
